Join us at the Westbrook Hunt Club during your holiday break for some horse show and clinic fun.

Paddy Downing will be judging our Thursday, December 28th horse show and staying with us through the week for a clinic.

Most locals will recognize Paddy from her recent judging here at the Westbrook Hunt Club as she is a USEF “R” hunter/equitation/jumper judge. Paddy has been judging for the past 20 years from home in Florida at famous locales such as West Palm Beach, across the country at Pebble Beach, CA,  to abroad in Panama and the Bahamas. In 2008 Paddy will be judging at Lake Placid, NY and the ponies at Devon.

Besides her judging expertise, Paddy brings a wealth of training knowledge with her. Being a professional since she was 18, she has trained numerous zone and national award winners, and pony finals winners.

During Paddy’s last clinic she helped our pony hunters through adult/amateur jumpers work through many old issues and segued our intermediate riders into the “next level”.  Many local professionals joined us for a few professional groups and expressed their enjoyment of the lesson and hopes that she would return again.

There will be 4 groups of no more that 5 riders scheduled by riding/horse ability each day.

Cost is $150 per lesson or $250 for two days.

Private or semi-private groups may be scheduled to meet special needs.
Limited stabling accommodations are available if planned in advance.
